What the fitment information is

Every fit is taken from the manufacturer's own compatibility list, parts page or manual, and the source is shown on the page. A fit marked verified is one the manufacturer names; a fit marked inferred is one only sellers list, and the page says so. How we check fitment explains the method.

We take care, and we fix errors when they are reported, but manufacturers change parts and models without notice. Before buying, check the code on your old part or in your appliance's manual against the code on the page. We are not liable for a purchase made on the basis of a fit that turns out to be wrong; the seller's returns policy applies to the purchase.

Prices and sellers

Prices are read from each seller's page and shown with the date they were last checked. The seller's page is the source of truth at the moment you buy. We do not sell the parts listed here and are not party to your purchase; the contract is between you and the seller.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links to sellers are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, the seller pays FitMatch a small commission. This never changes the price you pay. It also never changes which part we say fits: fitment is decided from the manufacturer's list before any seller is attached, and sellers are ordered by price, not by commission. FitMatch is not affiliated with the appliance manufacturers; brand names describe compatibility only.

Reminders and accounts

Reminders are a free convenience based on the manufacturer's stated interval; they are not a guarantee that a part needs changing on that date. You can stop them at any time. Do not share your sign-in link.

Using the site

You may use FitMatch for your own household or business. Do not scrape the catalogue for resale, overload the service, or submit false reports. The catalogue, its structure and the text on the pages are ours; manufacturer names, part codes and product photos belong to their owners and are used to describe compatibility.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. See also our privacy page.
