  2. 2Lift the top cover off and lift the old cylindrical filter out.
  3. 3Take the new filter out of its plastic bag and drop it in with the tab facing up.
  4. 4Put the cover back, plug in, and hold the filter reset button for about 3 seconds until the filter alert clears.
